Tips for First-Time Dual Boot with Linux and Windows

Hey everyone! I just completed my first dual boot setup with Linux (specifically Fedora KDE) and I'm really excited about it! My other OS is Windows 11. Both operating systems share a 1TB Samsung NVME SSD (512GB each). My setup includes an RTX 3050, AMD Ryzen 5 5500, a 1080 monitor, and 32GB of RAM. I'm loving the customization options with KDE, but I'm looking for more tips or things I should know now that I have both systems running. Any advice?

As someone who was new to Linux not long ago, I can share that it helped to keep my BIOS updated. I had trouble booting from my SSD because the BIOS was outdated, which could be a potential issue if you're having boot problems. Also, ensure your USB ports are working well. I had a mix-up with my keyboard being in the wrong USB slot that stopped GRUB from functioning properly, but once I switched it, everything was smooth! Keep experimenting, and you'll get the hang of things!

Thanks for the heads-up! I'll make sure to check my BIOS, and I've definitely had my share of USB mishaps too!
