I recently got some new DDR4 RAM and installed it on my PC, but now I'm having issues with getting a display. After installing the RAM, my PC powers on, but there's no picture. I decided to troubleshoot by inserting the RAM sticks one at a time, starting with DIMMA2, and I managed to get a display. Then I added DIMMB2, and with some luck and spamming the F2 key, I got it to work again, though only with three sticks. I'm wondering what could be causing the problem with the fourth stick. Is my RAM faulty, or could it be something else? Also, is it alright to run my system with just three sticks, or do I need to have one, two, or four for optimal performance? My setup is as follows:
- MSI B550M PRO VDH WIFI Motherboard
- AMD Ryzen 7 5800X CPU
- AMD RX7700XT GPU
- Corsair 750 Watt PSU
- Arctic Liquid CPU Cooler
- Team Group TForce 8GB DDR4 x4

Sounds like your motherboard might be having issues with running four sticks of RAM, especially if XMP is enabled. Try booting with just a few sticks, set the RAM speed to a lower frequency (like 2133), save the settings, and then add the fourth stick. That might help stabilize things.
When you add more sticks, it can take longer for memory training, which might explain why you're getting 'No Signal' sometimes. It's definitely okay to run three sticks, although ideally, you'd want to fill all slots for dual-channel performance. Make sure to watch those debug LED indicators on your motherboard; they can be really helpful in diagnosing issues!
