Trouble Loading Hyprland After Update to CachyOS

After updating CachyOS, I'm facing issues loading into Hyprland. My screen goes black, and I have a cursor shaped like an 'X'. It attempted to return to the SDDM login screen three times, but on the third try, I was stuck on a black screen with a blinking cursor. I'm not quite sure which packages to downgrade since I'm new to Linux and still learning how to use the terminal. I can still load into GNOME (Wayland), so I don't think it's a Wayland issue. I was using ML4W dotfiles and installed the update through a pop-up from my Waybar—at least, I think that's what it's called. After rebooting, I encountered the issue I described. Here are some logs for reference: https://paste.cachyos.org/p/d839044.log.

You could be facing a plugin issue, which I experienced in the past. Try switching to a tty session, running a full system update, and then update your plugins using `hyprpm update`. That might fix your loading problem!

Also, be sure you’ve got everything up to date and maybe even check if any plugins need specific configurations after the update!

I'm not exactly sure how to troubleshoot Hyprland, but since you're using CachyOS with it, you're doing a good job! It might help to ask in their community for help rather than just guessing. They may have specific fixes for this kind of issue.

It sounds like you might want to check out specific Hyprland support channels for better guidance. They often have more targeted troubleshooting steps that could help you with this issue. Good luck!
