Hey everyone,
I'm having a tough time logging into our AWS account because of a new mandatory Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) requirement. The problem is that our phone number on file is a landline, and I can't verify it for the login. I've already filled out the support form, but I'm really hoping someone here can help me out with a solution. This is critical for us since the application running on AWS is essential for our business operations. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Steve

Hey Steve, I feel your pain! If you're in the US, you could get a prepaid cell phone for about $30, which might solve your verification issue. If you have anyone in management with a cell phone, you could also use that temporarily. But seriously, if you can’t get this sorted soon, maybe it's worth questioning how crucial this application really is for your company?
That’s solid advice! The app is super important for us, but we’ve had some issues with our outsourced team delaying the MFA setup until it became a requirement.
