Trouble with Dual Channel RAM on My New PC

Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble with my new build using the MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI motherboard. When I use just one RAM stick in slot A2, everything works great. But as soon as I try to add a second stick in slot B2 (both A2 and B2), the system won't boot and the red and orange debug LEDs light up. I've switched the RAM sticks around and they both work fine individually. I've also tried setting the DRAM speed to 4800 MHz (instead of the auto setting of 5200), disabled Memory Context Restore, and made sure EXPO/XMP is off. I'm starting to worry that there might be an issue with the B2 RAM slot. Any suggestions on what I can do next? To clarify, I'm using a Crucial Pro RAM DDR5 64GB Kit (2x32GB) rated for 6000MHz CL40.

First things first, are you updated to the latest BIOS version? That could help with RAM compatibility. Also, could you share what specific RAM kit you're using? Maybe try putting the RAM in A1 and B1 instead to see if that works?

Yes, I've updated the BIOS to version 7E26v1L. Here’s the RAM link: [https://amzn.eu/d/51snsNc](https://amzn.eu/d/51snsNc). I'll give that A1/B1 setup a shot and keep you posted!

Updating the BIOS might fix the compatibility issues you're facing. But keep in mind, problems like these could potentially point to some damage on the motherboard or even the CPU itself. Since the memory slots are connected to the CPU, a faulty memory controller or damaged pins could be the culprit, too.

Thanks! I really hope there's nothing broken on my end...
