I'm in a bit of a jam because I'm leaving my job today and I just realized that my personal Microsoft account is still logged into the Edge browser on my work computer. I have two profiles set up: one for work and one for personal use. I've tried going into the settings to delete the personal profile, but it's just not going away. I really need a solution because I have some sensitive personal files and photos linked to that account. How can I ensure that my personal data is erased from this work device?

You really shouldn't have mixed your personal accounts with work devices. It's a tough lesson, but for future reference, keep those separate! As for your situation now, try visiting accounts.microsoft.com to deauthorize your work device from that account. It might work for you!
Honestly, it's best to reach out to your IT department and ask them to wipe everything. They typically have the tools to ensure a clean slate for the next person using that computer. Just consider it a safety measure!
Exactly! They can deal with it, don’t stress too much.
Don't worry! You can go into the sync settings of Edge and uncheck the sync option. After that, log out of your account. Normally, with two-factor authentication on, nobody should be able to access it without a code. Just make sure you also change your Microsoft password as soon as you get home!
Exactly! That’s what I did when I faced a similar issue.
If you have admin access, go to Settings > Accounts > Email & Accounts and remove your personal account from there. If you can't, your company's IT should be able to step in and help you out. But keep in mind they'll likely deactivate your Windows login, so that should solve the Edge account issue too.
Tried that and it didn’t work for me... might need IT's direct help.

That didn’t do the trick for me either, unfortunately.
