I currently have a custom domain registered through Canva, but I'm worried that if I cancel my pro subscription, I might lose access to it. I'm now using Framer to build my website and I want to transfer my domain to another registrar that doesn't require a subscription fee on top of the domain cost (so not Canva, Wix, etc.). Since I'm pretty new to this, I'd appreciate any advice to ensure I don't end up losing my domain!

I now manage my domains through Cloudflare and I’m really happy with it. The interface is straightforward and they offer some nice performance tools too.
I've been using Ionos for a while and had no issues. Their web interface is user-friendly, and I also appreciate their well-documented API!
I've been with Hover for about 20 years, and honestly, they don't bother you unless it's time for renewal. Great if you want fair pricing and minimal fuss!

Does it charge a subscription on top of the annual fee?
