What are the Best Courses and Certifications for a Future in DevOps?

I'm currently pursuing a BTech in Computer Science and Engineering while also learning about cybersecurity. I'm curious if DevSecOps is a promising field for the future. I know that mastering DevOps is essential even if I lean towards DevSecOps later. Could anyone recommend some certifications that come with a course to guide my learning? Additionally, I'm trying to decide between AWS and Azure as my cloud platform, and whether to focus on container tools like Docker and Kubernetes since they seem interconnected. Would love to hear your thoughts!

For starters, I recommend focusing on AWS along with Docker and Kubernetes. Consider aiming for certifications like the AWS DevOps Engineer or the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). Once you're comfortable with DevOps, you might want to explore Terraform to enhance your skill set. That should give you a solid foundation to eventually pivot into DevSecOps if you decide to go that route.

Honestly, I've noticed that learners tend to pick up AWS and Terraform faster when they study them together. Aiming for at least the Solutions Architect Associate level is a good strategy. After getting the hang of each service, try deploying small projects with Terraform to solidify your understanding. It might seem overwhelming at first, but it actually helps reinforce the concepts!
