I'm looking for advice on securing my devices, specifically laptops and phones. For laptops, I'm unsure whether to stick with Windows or make the switch to Linux, like Pop!_OS or Fedora. I've used Pop!_OS, but the setup time can be a lot. Are the security benefits worth it? Also, since I have a gaming laptop, any tailored advice would be greatly appreciated. In addition to OS choice, what online safety measures should I consider? I'm open to more questions and insights, especially from those in the cybersecurity field. Thanks!

A good starting point is using common sense, an adblocker, strong passwords, and two-factor authentication (2FA). Those basics can make a huge difference in your security setup!
I already use the Brave browser, and I switch up my passwords regularly with 2FA. But I'm curious, what 2FA methods do you think are the best long-term? Do you use Linux yourselves?
