I got an email a while back about some pricing updates for Top-Level Domains (TLDs) coming in July, but I can't seem to find it now. Has anyone else seen this email or know what changes to expect?

Remember, AWS acts just like any other domain reseller, so they follow price changes from their suppliers. In my experience, they can be a bit buggy with TLD rules, so I ended up moving some domains away from Route 53.
The email you mentioned was probably about ICANN increasing the annual base fee for TLDs from $0.18 to $0.20 starting July 1, 2025. You can check the official details if you're interested!
I'm not sure about the email you received, but currently, there aren't any announced changes to Route 53 pricing. You can find estimates and use our pricing calculator if you need—just let me know if you have more questions!
I noticed that prices for some TLDs did go up, but honestly, the email wasn't super informative. You can get the latest pricing details on the Route 53 pricing page to see how things have changed.
You might want to check the TLD pricing page for a comparison of old and new prices. They have a lot of relevant info there if you're looking for specifics.
