I was just watching a YouTube video when I suddenly heard a weird beeping sound—two quick beeps at slightly different pitches, and at the same time, my video paused itself! It's pretty concerning because I worry it might be a sign that someone is accessing my Wi-Fi or worse, hacking into my computer. Has anyone experienced something like this? What could it be?

This could be due to a few reasons. It might be your graphics driver resetting or maybe your CPU is overheating. Honestly, it's pretty unlikely to be a hacking situation, so try not to stress too much about that!
Sounds like you might want to check what operating system you're running and give a little more detail about the sound. That could help narrow it down!
It sounds like it could be a device getting unplugged, especially if that device has media controls. That would explain why your video paused!
I actually didn’t have any devices plugged in, and the sound didn’t match the usual unplugging noise. Now I’m worried there’s some remote access or something!
I suspect it might be overheating due to dust buildup. If that’s the case, avoid using a vacuum and opt for compressed air! Also, a fan could have stopped working.
That could make sense. My computer’s been acting up with battery issues and is getting older. It was just the video pausing that really freaked me out.
I'm on Windows 10. The sound was like a deeper pitch followed by a higher pitch, both pretty short, kind of like the sound when you plug in a USB but different.
