I'm curious about which content management systems (CMS) offer support for MCP (Managed Content Provider) and what people's experiences have been with them. I'm not tied to any specific stack or project right now—just looking for a broad discussion on this topic!

Webflow's CMS has a well-done MCP. I use it mostly for site migrations, making it easy to bring in document folders, PDFs, and more. Plus, it can analyze data to create new data tables before loading, which is super useful!
Storyblok is nice too! And if you're into it, WordPress has the AI Engine Pro MCP which can be pretty handy.
I've found that Directus works really well with MCP. I've been using it to convert a static Astro build, and it helped create all my collections and lots of content. There's still some manual work needed, but it has saved me a lot of time overall.
Sanity has a solid MCP that works seamlessly with their GROQ queries. I've also heard Strapi has a community-supported MCP, though I think most MCPs I've tried are pretty basic—they generally just read content or allow entry creation. The real benefit comes when you can integrate it with a coding agent to automate your component build.
Drupal supports MCP through the MCP Server project. It can be a bit complex, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty powerful.
