I'm gearing up to build a new gaming PC and aiming for longevity, just like my last one that served me well for over 6 years. So, here's the setup I have in mind:
**CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7/5.2GHz
**Cooler:** Noctua NH-D15 [chromax.black]
**Motherboard:** ASUS PRIME B650M-A II-CSM
**RAM:** Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) CL30 (EXPO/XMP)
**GPU:** ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5070 Ti SOLID SFF 16GB GDDR7
**Storage:** Samsung 990 Pro 2TB NVMe PCIe 4.0
**PSU:** MSI MAG A850GL PCIe5 850W 80+ Gold (modular)
**Case:** Fractal Design Meshify 2 Nano (Tempered Glass)
The total comes to around €2114. I'm looking for feedback on whether this build feels balanced or if there are better part options in a similar price range. Also, do I need to add any extra fans for airflow or will the stock ones do the trick? Thanks for your input!

Honestly, your build looks solid overall. I’d maybe steer clear of ASUS products since I've heard mixed reviews about their reliability lately. If you want to future-proof it, consider opting for at least a B850 motherboard instead. The Noctua cooler is great, but if that’s stretching your budget, you could find decent alternative coolers. Also, you might look into a cheaper SSD if that's a concern, but the 990 Pro isn't a bad choice!
What’s wrong with ASUS?
