I'm looking for a Linux distribution that's similar to Windows, ideally something like Zorin, where everything is pre-packaged and I don't have to touch the terminal. I'd love a smoother, more stable experience, especially for gaming. Bonus points if I can easily mod games like Stardew Valley! My computer is quite old, so it needs to run well on limited resources and has an AMD processor.

Linux Mint with Cinnamon is known for being great for newcomers. It has a pretty familiar layout, making it easy to transition from Windows.

If you end up not liking Mint, give Fedora KDE a try. It has a clean, Windows-like interface and is quite user-friendly!

MX Linux with XFCE could be a good fit too. It's based on Debian and is known for stability. Plus, it comes with a lot of drivers pre-installed, so you won't need to mess with the command line much.

Zorin Lite might be a better option for older machines. You could also look into Linux Mint XFCE or Lubuntu; both are lightweight and should run smoothly on your hardware.

Have you considered Linux Mint? It's user-friendly and works well for gaming if you set it up right.
