I'm curious about a type of voicemail I receive sometimes at work that seems to be AI-generated. The messages are always different and quite humorous. For example, I've had one with a guy talking about catching a snake with a funny accent, another where someone pretends they've just come home and their brother is singing the Grinch, and even one where the background sounds like waves and a boat. They're so detailed that it almost feels real for a moment! I've tried googling this but only found discussions about scams. Does anyone know what program or service might be generating these voicemails?

It sounds like those are just comedy voicemail recordings! I’m not sure if they have anything to do with AI if they don’t use your name. Maybe they just rotate through funny messages?
They don’t use my name, but every time I call, it’s a different voicemail, like a recording with pauses. It’s not quite a conversation, lol.
