Hey everyone! I just finished assembling my PC and everything powers on properly. Aside from installing an operating system, what specific settings or changes should I check or tweak in the BIOS to ensure I'm getting the most out of my components? Here's my list of parts: [parts list link]. So far, I've enabled XMP to run my RAM at 6000MHz and confirmed that the system recognizes my 1TB of storage and my two RAM sticks.

Definitely update all drivers from your motherboard’s website, including Intel Management Engine and chipset drivers. Also, ensure your power plan in Windows is set to high performance. Enable game mode, adjust your monitor’s refresh rate, and if you have G-Sync, make sure that’s activated too for smoother gameplay.

Did you build it yourself, or did someone help you out? Just a tip, your build seems a little off in terms of price-to-performance ratio, but overall it should work fine.

I actually got a full component bundle for 1000€, which was the only option I had. Everything else was around 1500€ due to RAM price hikes.

Make sure to run some pre-POST tests to check if your BIOS changes are working fine. Sometimes adjustments can lead to instability in games. The biggest step after booting your OS is to install all your drivers and then fine-tune your in-game settings—you’ll want to confirm your resolution matches your monitor and consider turning off motion blur for better performance.
