What Should I Do If My Client Isn’t Paying for CSP Services?

Hey everyone, I'm an Azure CSP provider and I've got a few clients who have fallen behind on their payments. I'm considering what actions I can take to restrict or disable their services to encourage them to pay up. I'm planning to consult with a legal team but wanted to gather some insights from the community first. Any suggestions on what I can do? Thanks!

Before shutting everything down, be cautious. You don’t want to risk data loss or other issues. Instead, consider using conditional access to limit access to just you, the CSP.

Have you thought about suspending their services instead? If they don't respond, you can remove them after 90 days as Microsoft allows.

You might want to just turn off their access completely. Stopping services like email, OneDrive, and other cloud functions usually gets people to pay up quickly.

It's a tough situation, but I'd definitely recommend starting with your legal team. They can advise you on what's permissible in your area since the laws can vary.
