Hey everyone! I'm planning to install Pop!_OS soon, but I'm completely new to Linux and coming from a Windows background. Is there anything specific I should keep in mind during the installation process?

Before you dive in, back up all your important files. Think about whether you want to keep Windows as a backup or go fully with Pop!_OS. If you do keep Windows, try to use separate drives for each OS. Also, familiarize yourself with disk formatting and partitioning because Linux has a different setup from Windows. And don't shy away from the terminal—it'll be super helpful in the long run! Finally, take a moment to enjoy the new experience!
If you have an Nvidia GPU, definitely grab the installer that comes with the Nvidia drivers pre-installed. It'll save you a headache later on! Once you've got the system up, consider removing LibreOffice and reinstalling it through Flatpak for better performance.
Check out some migration resources available online! Specifically, only use root access when absolutely necessary, avoid third-party repositories, and always verify the checksums of your ISOs after downloading. Some good tips that might save you a lot of trouble!
