I'm planning to upgrade my PC and I'm unsure about which components to focus on first. My budget is flexible, ideally around $1,500. Here are my current specs:
- Intel Core i7-10700K CPU @ 3.80GHz
- NVIDIA RTX 2070 8GB
- Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4 3200 16GB (2x8GB)
- MSI MPG B560I GAMING EDGE WIFI
- Cooler Master 850W PSU
- WD Black SN750 M.2 1TB SSD
- Lian Li A4-H2O Mini ITX case
I'd appreciate any suggestions on what to upgrade and what I can keep!

Honestly, upgrading the GPU should be your priority. Something like the 4070 or 7800XT would be a great fit; your RTX 2070 is the main bottleneck. Everything else in your build is solid for now, but maybe plan on ramping up to 32GB RAM later as an option.
You can definitely keep your power supply and SSD since they are already decent. Everything else can be updated easily.
I suggest first upgrading your GPU and monitor. If you don't have a 1440p display, it's a must for a modern gaming experience. Also, consider going for 32GB RAM and adding a 2TB NVMe SSD for game storage later on for better performance and space.
I would recommend starting with your GPU. Consider upgrading it to something more powerful. Additionally, if you're looking into a complete upgrade, you might want to look at your CPU and motherboard as well.
It really depends on your goals. Your current specs are fine for 1080p gaming. If you want to enhance your gaming experience, upgrading your GPU or monitor would be the way to go. I wouldn't suggest upgrading the CPU right now, as any replacements would offer only minor improvements, especially with DDR5 RAM being pricey. For a new GPU, you might want to check out options like the 9060XT 16GB or 5070Ti. If you decide to grab a more powerful GPU, consider getting a monitor that supports 1440p with at least 144Hz refresh rate for the best experience.
If you pair them with a decent CPU, you should be good, but check to see if your CPU could be a limiting factor with higher-end GPUs.

I'm definitely looking to improve my gaming experience. Would those GPUs need any other upgrades to avoid any performance bottlenecks?
