I'm providing IT support for a small marketing agency that has recently transitioned to a fully remote setup. They aren't very tech-savvy, and now they need a straightforward time tracking tool for their team of around 10 people. The goal is to find something really simple and efficient that won't bog down their computers and can deliver clean reports for invoicing. Essentially, they need to accurately log hours for different projects without it turning into a support issue for me. I've looked into Toggl and Clockify, which seem user-friendly, and tools like Monitask that aim for a simple user experience with detailed admin functionalities. For anyone experienced in this area, what solutions have you successfully implemented without creating a busy support role for yourself?

Are you looking for automated time tracking or will they input their hours manually? Because if it’s the latter, a simple Excel spreadsheet might do the trick, but it requires them to stay on top of it.
Have you considered SalesForce or Workday? They might be a bit complex for such a non-tech-focused team, but it could work depending on their needs.
You should definitely check out Harvest. It integrates really well with Asana, so it might be a perfect fit for their workflow!
If the team struggles to fill out accurate timesheets, any software might be pointless. It's essential they accurately mark their project hours, or the reporting will be off.
I’ve been using Clockify for my own small business and it works great! Plus, it’s free, which is always a bonus.

Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll definitely have a look at Clockify. Seems to match what I’m looking for.
