I'm looking to upgrade my PC, but I'm unsure what components to prioritize. Here are my current specs:
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT
- CPU: i5-12400F
- RAM: 16GB
- Disk: WD Blue SN570 1TB
- Motherboard: MSI PRO B660M-A WiFi
Any suggestions for upgrades would be greatly appreciated!

Adding an extra 16GB of RAM could be a great start, as it's one of the most affordable upgrades out there. Also, if you're running low on storage, you might want to consider expanding that as well. Upgrading the CPU likely won't make much difference unless you're into heavy video editing, but a new GPU would definitely offer a noticeable boost. Just keep in mind, that's usually the most expensive option. Personally, I’d save up for a complete overhaul in a year or two instead.
I think upgrading your GPU is the best bet; it's where you'll see the most significant performance increase. Your i5 CPU is still pretty solid, so no need to rush on that. I recommend looking for a 2x16GB DDR4 RAM kit (around 3200-3600 MHz, depending on what your motherboard supports) to take your total to 32GB. For the GPU, if budgeting allows, shoot for a 12-16GB model like the 9060XT for lower-end or 9070/5070 if you can spend around $600.
This is probably the path I'll take, looking at the 9070. Thanks for the solid advice!
