What’s a Good Way to Start My Python Project?

I've been learning and coding in Python every day, but I don't feel like I'm making any real progress. It seems like I lack that excitement or motivation, and I'm not seeing the results I want. I've heard that practicing is essential, but many people suggest that the best way to truly improve is by starting personal projects. I agree with that and I'm eager to dive in, but I could use some solid advice on how to approach my first project and push myself to become a better coder. Any tips or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Don't stress about being a "god-like programmer." Instead, focus on becoming a programmer who can create the things you want. There's no finish line to reach, and you'll always feel like you don't know enough—that's totally normal! Just concentrate on what you need to learn for your next project and embrace being uncomfortable. Keep learning and growing at your own pace, and remember, if you ever think you know everything, that's when you should really start to worry!

I get that, but can you explain what you mean by doing this "over and over again for the rest of your life?" I feel like I'm stuck in a loop of learning but still feel like a not-so-great programmer.

Start with a small project to boost your chances of actually finishing it. A few tiny projects completed are way better than one giant, unfinished one. Make a list of features you want to include, but also list what you definitely won't add. This helps avoid feature creep and keeps your project manageable.
