I'm looking for a stable Arch-based Linux distribution that's good for gaming. I've used Linux before, so I'm familiar with making a few tweaks, but I'd prefer something that works well out of the box, especially for gaming purposes. Any recommendations?

If you're set on using an Arch-based distro, CachyOS is a great choice because it comes with all the necessary drivers pre-installed. Plus, it’s pretty user-friendly, especially for gamers.
Honestly, if you want a solid experience, just go with CachyOS. I've installed it recently for gaming, and it’s been stable enough that I rarely boot into Windows anymore.
Going direct with Arch might seem daunting but trust me, it’s stable when set up right. If you prefer something easier to manage, CachyOS is your best bet and still keeps the Arch experience through its package manager.
I’ve read that Arch can be unstable, though. How do you handle updates?

I've been using CachyOS for a bit, and I really enjoy it! The KDE environment is fun, and I've had a smooth experience so far.
