I'm searching for a customer relationship management (CRM) system that can handle both our own clients and those from subcontracted companies. Ideally, I need a CRM that allows me to attach multiple invoices to a single company and enables quick access to find specific invoices easily. Currently, we're using Less Annoying, but it's not working for us. It's frustrating because I have to customize searches each time instead of having a streamlined experience where all the information is readily available. Any recommendations?

Just to clarify, you want a setup where when you click on a client, you see everything related to them - projects, contracts, invoices all in one view, right? It sounds like you'd benefit from something more structured, like QuickBooks, which simplifies navigation.
If you need a robust solution that combines CRM with accounting, NetSuite could be your answer. It's not the cheapest or easiest to set up, but once it's properly configured, it's incredibly flexible and powerful.
Have you looked into LACRM? They offer custom fields and reports, which might help if you set up a 'sub-account' field for each invoice. But if you're having issues with organizing invoices once they’re in there, it might be worth contacting their support for tips.
What platform are you planning to use? Also, since you mentioned you'd be using it on a desktop primarily, do you need mobile support or is everything going to be desktop-based? And who's in charge of managing the CRM?
You might want to check out Salesforce. It's widely regarded as one of the best options out there for CRM needs. Plus, if you're feeling adventurous, you could consider building something in-house that fits your exact requirements.
