I'm currently using a super low-end GPU, the 3050, and I really need an upgrade. A friend suggested the RTX 4060, but I've heard conflicting info saying it might bottleneck my system. Another person recommended going with a 3060, but then bottleneck calculators indicate that would also be incompatible. I'm just feeling confused because every source offers different advice. Any help?

Honestly, bottleneck calculators don't give you the full picture. Your setup can handle any GPU, including something like a 5090! But to make a good recommendation, I’d need to know your budget, resolution, and the types of games you like to play.
Forget about those bottleneck calculators. For my money, the 5060 Ti 16GB is the best bang for your buck right now. It's powerful and won't break the bank. You can check it out here: [Gigabyte Windforce GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/B7CCmG/gigabyte-windforce-geforce-rtx-5060-ti-16-gb-pcie-x8-video-card-gv-n506twf2-16gd)
Bottleneck calculators are pretty unreliable, in my opinion. Go for the 4060; even if your CPU is a bit older and weaker, it shouldn't be a major issue for a solid experience. The performance difference between the 3060 and 4060 isn't huge, so the upgrade might be worth it!
Honestly, when it comes to 4K gaming, you'd want to consider something like the 5070 or even the 5080 for better performance. But if you're gaming at 1080p, the RTX 4060 should do just fine!
My budget is around 500€, I usually game at 1920 x 1080, and I play a mix of games. Some I've struggled with are Helldivers 2 and Modded Minecraft.
