Hey everyone! I'm new to Linux and I'm on the lookout for a good distribution that's beginner-friendly, especially for gaming. I'd love a distro that supports running .exe files and works well with Steam. While I'm also interested in customizing the user interface, like fonts and other aspects, gaming is my top priority. Any suggestions?

It really depends on what you plan to do. If you're looking for a good balance of gaming and productivity, consider distros like Pop OS or Nobara. For heavier gaming focus, you might want to check out Pika OS or Drauger.
Kubuntu is also a solid option. It provides a good gaming experience and customization options. It’s pretty beginner-friendly.
For a solid gaming experience right out of the box, I'd recommend Bazzite with the KDE desktop. It’s user-friendly for those coming from Windows, plus it offers frequent updates and even includes Nvidia drivers if you have an Nvidia GPU.
I've had good experiences with Bazzite too! It’s been reliable for gaming.
