I'm looking to upgrade my PC because it's starting to show its age. I built it about 4 or 5 years ago and while it's been great, I want to play some newer games that require more power. Currently, I have an R5 5600X, MSI B550 Gaming Edge WiFi, 16GB GSkill TridentZ 3600MHz RAM, and an RX 6600. My storage includes a 500GB WD SN770 and a 1TB SiliconPower. I was considering upgrading to a Ryzen 5900X or 5800X3D, but those are pricey. I'm thinking of selling my current setup for about $550-600 while keeping the storage and possibly the PSU. I'm also planning for a white build, but I'm open to other colors if they're cheaper. My main question is about the GPU: should I go for a current-gen card like the 9070 or stick with a previous-gen option? Any suggestions would be super helpful!

Is your budget $1500 or $1600? If you're sticking to $1500, check this build I put together. If you're near a Micro Center, consider the 7600X3D as well—it can be a great upgrade!
It’s definitely $1500. Some items on my original list jumped up in price, but your build looks cool! I’m thinking about the difference between 9600X and 9700X, and a 9070XT would be a sweet upgrade.
