What’s the best way to manage multiple Rocky Linux boxes?

Hey there! I'm a home user and a bit of a lurker, currently diving into Rocky Linux for my VFX setup. I'm trying to figure out how to effectively manage 3-4 Rocky Linux machines, keeping track of their IPs, backup strategies, and names. For instance, I'm looking at: * Rocky 1 (localhost name, IP, Tailscale IP, Rear ISO backup, data backup) * Rocky 2 (similar setup) * Rocky 3 (you get the idea). I'm hoping to establish a good labeling system for easier management since I plan to log in remotely using ether-wake WOL and Tailscale for RDP work and SSH backups. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You might want to check out Ansible for managing your servers. It’s great for automation and can help you handle multiple systems with ease, making backups and configurations smoother!

Terraform can also be a solid choice alongside Ansible! It’s super handy for infrastructure management.

Just a heads-up, this sub is more for professional sysadmins. You might have better luck in a Linux-specific community for support!
