Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a reliable way to play YouTube music throughout the day. I used to use my smart TV to stream music, but I've run into some space issues and need a new option. I considered using MP3 players with speakers, but I'm a bit lost on how that would work with YouTube. Would it be smart to buy a budget smartphone and connect it to a speaker instead? My main worry is whether phone speakers can handle long hours of use without wearing out. I'm looking for a durable solution since I plan on playing relaxation music or soft melodies non-stop using my YouTube Premium account. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Using an old phone for music is a great idea! I have a couple of discontinued models just sitting around that run on Wi-Fi. I keep them plugged in, plus I unplug them if I’m not going to be around for a bit. They make great little music players and can even serve as clocks when not in use!
Just a heads up, sometimes YouTube stops playback and prompts you to continue, but with the Premium account, that might not be a problem for you! Just keep that in mind as you decide on the right setup.
