I'm looking to really dive into learning Linux so I can customize my Arch Hyprland setup without just copying someone else's work. My goal is to build tools for Linux and eventually contribute, but right now, I don't have any coding or programming skills—I've just followed a bunch of tutorials to get here. So, where should I start? What should I focus on learning first?

Check out linuxjourney.com for a great starting point! Also, I'd recommend picking a programming language, like Python, to learn. It’ll help you develop real skills that go beyond just customization.
To be honest, ricing is my main focus at the moment. I want to get that down before moving on to more serious skills. Do I need to be skilled to rice properly? Any guidance would help!
