Since this is a proof of concept and I have budget constraints, I want to explore different options. My initial thought was to use AWS with S3 because it seems like a comprehensive solution, but I'm worried about costs. Ideally, the directory will allow users to upload images, and I'm just beginning to figure out my full stack application deployment. I'd appreciate any suggestions or insights you guys might have!

Using AWS S3 is definitely a solid choice, especially since their free tier offers 5 GB of storage and thousands of requests for a year! That should be enough for your POC.
