Hey everyone! I'm considering moving my LAMP project from shared hosting to CloudWays, and I wanted to know your experiences with it. Is it a stable platform? I'm concerned about downtime and infrastructure reliability. Any insights would be appreciated!

I've been using CloudWays for a while, and honestly, it's been getting a bit worse over the years. Tech support is still decent, but customer support has dropped in quality. If you decide to switch, steer clear of the Rackspace email add-on; they've had major deliverability problems. Some major email providers even blacklisted their IP addresses for months, and that's just not acceptable for business emails.
I had a pretty rough experience with CloudWays. Their aggressive marketing is overwhelming, even after you sign up. The pricing structure is misleading; for instance, if you're using a $10 Digital Ocean Managed service without CloudWays, it would only cost you $6, but with CloudWays, it jumped to $40! Plus, their managed services aren't great. I had issues with WordPress because of PHP limits, which required dev tasks—I thought CloudWays would make things easier. On top of that, you can't even manage your debit/credit card on the platform without deleting your account—pretty shady if you ask me!
I've mainly used CloudWays for simple websites. If you're working on a web app, just be cautious—it might be a bit limited for what frameworks you want to use. Personally, I prefer Vercel for web apps, but that’s not LAMP-based.
