I'm looking for information on the very first portable video player that didn't rely on interchangeable discs. I specifically want something that uses hard drives or flash memory, not music players or DVD devices. Any insights on this?

I had a Magnavox E60846 back in the day. It was a black and white TV and radio combo with a 3.5-inch screen, made in 1981. You could technically take it anywhere, as long as you had 8 D batteries to power it! Not sure if it was the first, but it definitely feels like one of the earliest.

I found one for sale on Etsy with photos. It's pretty cool to see how far we've come! Check it out.
