I'm in a bit of a time crunch as I'm applying for a UX/UI job and need a portfolio website ready fast. I've got three solid projects lined up, but I haven't set up a website yet. I'm looking for something that's easy to use, looks professional, and won't take too long to put together. I've been wondering if platforms like Framer or Durable are really beginner-friendly, or if I should stick with simpler options.

If you're just looking to get a portfolio up, try Lovable – you can have it done in minutes!

I recommend Squarespace! It's really simple to use, comes with lots of prebuilt templates, and perfect for showcasing your work.

I used Durable when I was in a similar situation and needed to apply quickly. It automatically built a pretty decent site for me, and I just had to drop in my project content. It’s not super customizable, but it looked professional and I had it ready in less than an hour!

If you're applying for a UX/UI job, I really suggest building your own site. Think about the stack the company uses and create your project accordingly. This not only showcases your work but also your skills. I’d recommend using React or Vue, grab a free startup SPA template, and plug in your components. You can deploy quickly using AWS Amplify or Vercel. It turns your portfolio into a discussion piece rather than just a gallery! Good luck! 👍

That’s a great point! Building it yourself really shows off what you can do.

My designer friends swear by Framer for no-code building. It's a solid choice if you're looking for something polished but still want to keep it simple.

Both Framer and Durable are beginner-friendly, but I found Framer takes a bit more time to set up compared to Durable. If you're in a hurry, I'd lean towards Durable.

You're welcome to use the code I made for my portfolio! It’s open-sourced here with some basic documentation: [jamenlyndon.com](https://jamenlyndon.com/) and [GitHub Portfolio](https://github.com/jamenlyndon/portfolio/). If you're comfortable with some basic CSS/SASS and HTML, you'll be good to go without diving into JS.
