Hey everyone,
I'm currently managing around 20-30 websites that rely on Google ReCaptcha. Recently, everything has shifted to the Google Cloud Console, and honestly, it's really complicated. I usually only implement ReCaptcha for my clients, but now it feels like there are a ton of extra features that I don't even need. I'm also struggling to find an overview of the Recaptcha options I'm currently using because it seems to have disappeared. Can anyone help me figure this out? Thanks a lot!

Yeah, it feels like ReCaptcha just keeps getting more and more complicated! I can't wait for the day it just fades away. It's really frustrating that everything seems to be mashed together under different organizations now. We need a simple solution, like an open-source ReCaptcha or something! But hey, I guess I need to be more original with my ideas; I just realized there are already a couple out there.
You might want to consider using Cloudflare Turnstile instead. It's a lot simpler and has minimal configurations, plus it’s easy to set up.
Google has been sending out updates regarding the transition for a while now, so there's that. If you want to keep using ReCaptcha, there's a free tier on Google Cloud. You can find the migration instructions here: https://cloud.google.com/recaptcha/docs/migrate-recaptcha. Also, the old admin portal is still available at https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin/. If you're looking for alternatives, you could switch to options like Cloudflare Turnstile or hCaptcha.
