I'm looking for a good website to help me check the compatibility of various hardware parts. Right now, I have an MSI B450-Pro motherboard and I'm planning to add RAM soon, plus possibly a GPU or CPU later on. I've tried a few online checkers, but they often focus more on aesthetics like RGB options rather than actual compatibility. I currently have Corsair Vengeance RAM that seems compatible with my motherboard, but I've come across some GoodRAM that's a bit cheaper and also fits the specs: DDR4, 2x16GB, 3200MHz, CL16. Additionally, I'd like to know if my power supply can handle all of this. Lastly, if I decide to buy a new motherboard that supports DDR5 in a few years, will my DDR4 RAM be completely incompatible? I'm not looking to run them simultaneously or anything like that.

Just so you know, there aren't any motherboards out there that support both DDR4 and DDR5 at the same time. If you're using a CPU that works with a B450 motherboard, it will only support DDR4. So, when you eventually upgrade your CPU, keep in mind that you'll need a motherboard that supports it—most of those newer boards won’t work with DDR4 at all.
Thanks for clarifying that. I had a feeling DDR5 would be incompatible with DDR4.
I suggest checking out PCPartPicker.com. It's a solid site for seeing component compatibility. Just a heads up, it might not list some specific models, but it generally does a good job of matching parts based on specs. Though I get it, sometimes you find the perfect RAM that's not listed, which can be frustrating!
Yeah, I noticed that too! It doesn't always have every single brand or version. I've been hunting for specific models as well.

That's good to know! I was worried about future compatibility.
