Hey everyone! I'm a recent Software Engineering grad feeling a bit lost in my career path. During my time in university, I mostly focused on passing exams, so even though I've dabbled in front-end and languages like Java and C++, I've really forgotten much of it due to lack of practice. I'm aware there are basic concepts I should know, but I definitely don't feel confident in my skill set.
Applying for jobs has been tough since most require a CV, and I hesitate to apply for internships or entry-level positions because I don't believe I truly deserve the skills mentioned on my resume. I find programming languages like HTML and C++ easy enough, and I'm unsure whether I should explore different languages like Java or Python or focus on mastering one track. I want to restart my learning process from scratch but don't know where to start.
I've heard good things about The Odin Project—would that be a suitable starting point? I can dedicate around 4 to 6 hours a day but want to make sure I'm not wasting time on overly basic material that won't benefit me. I'm also uncertain about whether to focus on front-end, back-end, or both simultaneously.
Lastly, I'm feeling a bit discouraged by the rise of AI—it seems like they can create websites in a flash while beginners get stuck for days. Should I consider mobile development instead, or pursue something that's more in demand? Any advice or a clear roadmap for getting back on track would really mean a lot. Thanks!

The Odin Project is a great choice! Stick with it for a few months without jumping around. Build a couple of small apps on your own once you feel comfortable. And don’t overthink your resume—everyone bends the truth a little when applying. The job market is tough right now, so apply widely!

Don’t be hard on yourself! Major in projects and refresh your skills that way. You start small; even a simple 'hello' page can be a starting point. Once you pull off smaller projects, you can gradually tackle full-stack tasks. This method will preps you well for interviews too!
