Hey everyone! I'm currently using an FX 8350 with an RX 580 and considering an upgrade. I'm unsure whether to go for the Ryzen 5 3600, the i5-14400f, or the Ryzen 5 5600. My main focus is on playing esports titles like LoL and Valorant, as well as WoW, and I'm not planning on upgrading my GPU anytime soon due to budget constraints. I game on a 1080p monitor with a 180hz refresh rate. Also, I have an Xbox to play AAA games. I'd really appreciate your insights!

The i5-14400f actually beats the Ryzen 5 3600 in pretty much every aspect, so if performance is your goal, it’s worth considering that one too!
Wow, still running an FX chip? I used to have an FX 6350 paired with a GTX 960. It’s a solid setup but feels limiting compared to more modern options!
Honestly, why settle for the R5 5600? You could get the R5 9600 for just a bit more money. Prices on eBay show it going for around $199, while the 5600 is closer to $120. Definitely seems like a smart investment unless you're super tight on cash!
Depending on your budget, you might consider getting an AM5 motherboard and going for a 7600 or a later model. AM4 still has some good options, and it’s worth noting that the 5700 is often available at prices similar to the 5600x. You really can’t go wrong with either choice!
If you’re looking into Windows 11 compatibility, just a heads-up that you might want to go for at least a Ryzen 7 with AM4. It's better for future-proofing your setup.
If you can find the 5700X3D, I’d highly recommend it! It could really enhance your gaming experience, especially in esports titles.
