I'm planning to buy a GPU and am leaning towards a 5060 with 8GB, considering the price hikes lately. Among the brands like Gigabyte, Asus, Palit, and MSI, which would be the best option? I noticed that while most brands offer only 2-fan versions, Gigabyte and Palit have 3-fan models available at a similar price point. What do you think?

Honestly, brand doesn't matter that much. I've had good experiences with various brands including Asus, and they often have decent warranties. I've found that choosing based on noise level and cooling can make a bigger difference in the long run.

I'll keep that in mind! I'm really looking for something that won't be super loud.

RIP EVGA, they really left a mark on the market. I had a 1080 that lasted forever. If only they were still making GPUs, I'd probably build an all-EVGA system!

Totally feel you on that. It’s such a bummer they’re gone.

It really depends on what features you're looking for. Some brands focus on cooling efficiency, while others are quieter or better for overclocking. But in the end, unless you're doing some heavy gaming or overclocking, you probably won't notice the difference—just get what looks best for your setup!

I agree! I'm not into overclocking either, so I prefer the 3-fan options. Just curious if I'd even need that on a 5060.

Most GPUs are produced by the same manufacturers, so the core components are similar. The real differences come from the quality of the cooling systems and fans. You might want to read up on those aspects if noise is a concern for you!

Good to know! I appreciate you clearing that up!

Honestly, the cheapest one usually wins! Just make sure to check reviews beforehand since some brands like Gigabyte have had mixed feedback on certain models.

That's a good point. I've heard some concerning things about Gigabyte's recent cards. But in general, they seem okay.
