Hey everyone! I'm trying to decide between two GPUs since the prices are pretty similar where I live. I'm considering the Power Color Hellhound Radeon RX 7800 XT and the Asus Prime GeForce RTX 5070. I would love to hear your thoughts on which is better! Additionally, I'm curious about my build overall, which includes:
- Case: Fractal Design North
- Power Supply: Fractal Design Ion Gold 850W
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D (the latter is about 45% more expensive)
- Cooling: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 Black
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX
- Fans: Arctic P12 PWM x2
- RAM: GoodRam IRDM, DDR5, 32 GB, 6000MHz, CL30
- Other GPU option: POWERCOLOR Hellhound Radeon RX 9070 XT (this one is 33% more expensive than the previous two)
Thanks in advance for your help!

I'd definitely go with the RTX 5070 over the 7800 XT if the prices are the same. The 5070 outperforms in raster graphics and shines in ray tracing, plus it supports DLSS 4. If you’re gaming at higher resolutions like 1440p or 4K, the 9070 XT might be worth the extra cash based on your monitor specs!
I play on a 32'' 165Hz 1440p monitor. Should I skip the 9070 XT entirely then? Maybe look into the 9060 XT 16GB?
