Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade the GPU in my prebuilt system that I bought about six years ago. Here are the specs: Intel i5 10400F, GeForce RTX 2060, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB SSD, and a 600W PSU. I'm considering a few options for the upgrade: the 5060TI, the 9070, or the 9070XT. I've read that I'll need to upgrade my PSU if I go with the 9070XT, but the price difference between the 9070 and the 9070XT isn't huge—around $60 to $80. The 5060TI would be about $100 less than the 9070. I mainly play games like Baldur's Gate, Warhammer 3, and I'm planning to dive into God of War soon. Any advice on which upgrade makes the most sense? I'm a bit of a newbie to this, so I appreciate any help!

Honestly, if you’re not aiming for max settings, it might be worth upgrading your CPU first. The newer Intel generations, particularly those 12th or 13th gen, offer a significant boost in performance—especially the 12600K or higher. You can keep your existing RAM but will need a new motherboard and possibly better cooling depending on your current setup. It might be a good idea to address the CPU bottleneck before upgrading your GPU.
What resolution are you gaming at right now? It really impacts which GPU you should choose.
I'm playing at 1440p.

Got it! So, you think I should focus on the CPU upgrade before considering a GPU change? Is the GPU still important after the CPU upgrade?
