I have an i5-12400F, an RTX 4060 graphics card, and 12GB of RAM, and I'm mainly using my system for gaming and watching shows. I've done some research and noticed a lot of conflicting opinions about different Linux distributions, which has made things confusing for me. I'm looking for something that's user-friendly, but I'm okay with picking up some commands if necessary.

Honestly, I would recommend sticking with a distro that isn't Arch-based for your needs. Choose a desktop environment that you find appealing. I personally use Linux Mint with the Cinnamon desktop, but KDE Plasma is also a trendy option these days.
You can't go wrong with any Debian-based distros like Debian itself, Ubuntu, or Linux Mint. From a gaming perspective, they all perform quite similarly. Some people might suggest avoiding Ubuntu due to some non-gaming issues, but for casual use, especially for gaming, it should be fine. Linux Mint is great for beginners, with a handy driver manager that simplifies setup.

KDE is awesome! It lets me customize everything, including my aero theme!
