Which Linux Distro Should I Choose for Gaming and College?

I'm working with a mid-range PC primarily for college and gaming, and I've been testing out a few Linux distributions. Right now, I'm torn between Ubuntu (or Kubuntu), Mint, Pop_OS, and Zorin OS. My setup features an AMD Ryzen 5 4500U with Radeon Graphics, and I've been able to play games like Black Ops 3, Mortal Kombat 9, and Titanfall quite well. Since these distros are all based on Ubuntu, I'm seeking some advice on which one might suit my needs best, especially considering ease of use and gaming performance.

Exactly! Just pick the one that resonates with you personally. Since they all perform similarly in terms of the core system, it's ultimately about the user interface and the software that comes with it.

If you're looking for a hassle-free experience, both Ubuntu and Linux Mint are solid choices. But if you're up for a bit more fun and customization, Zorin or Pop!_OS might be worth considering.

For gaming and general use, as long as the desktop environment is light and doesn't hog too many resources, any of these should be fine. You might also keep an eye on AnduinOS if you're curious about something different!

How about going with the one you enjoyed testing the most? The one that felt the most intuitive will probably work best for you in the long run.

All of these distros are Ubuntu-based, so the differences aren't as significant as you might think. It really comes down to which desktop environment you find most comfortable. Go for the one that feels right for you!
