I'm building a PC around an RTX 3090 and I'm trying to decide on the power supply and RAM. I'm considering a SILVER STONE 1000W power supply or an ASUS PRIME 850W. For RAM, I've got my eye on either PATRIOT EXTREME 2X16GB 6000MHz CL30 or G.SKILL RIPJAWS DDR5 5600MHz 2X16GB. Which combination would work best?

The RTX 3090 can draw quite a bit of power, especially with those transient spikes, so while the 850W might technically work, I’d recommend going for the 1000W PSU if the price difference isn't too much. As for RAM, it's hard to give specific advice since you didn’t mention prices or details about your motherboard and CPU setup. Make sure to consider timings as well for optimal performance!

Since you're using the MSI PRO A620M-E and Ryzen 5 7500F, the 1000W PSU is definitely the better choice for future-proofing. It looks like you found good prices too: $120 for the Patriot and $84 for the G.SKILL stick. For timings, it refers to the latency; lower timings generally mean better performance. Given your choices, both RAM options should work, but check if the G.SKILL has a good timing spec to compare!
