I'm trying to boost my gaming experience, especially for Battlefield 6 and other AAA games at 1080p. Right now, I've got an RTX 3060 12GB GPU, 16GB of DDR4 3000MHz RAM (2x8), a Ryzen 5 5600 CPU, an FSP Hydro 600 PSU, and a Gigabyte B450M S2H motherboard. I'm wondering if I should upgrade my CPU, motherboard, and RAM or just go for a better GPU. While my RTX 3060 performs decently at low settings, I'd really like to hit at least 100 FPS for smoother gameplay. I'm considering switching to either a Ryzen 7800X3D or a 9700X, or maybe looking into Intel options. What do you think?

I totally agree! Battlefield 6 can be quite demanding, and it seems your CPU might be a bit of a bottleneck, especially with all those other applications running in the background. If your budget is around $700-800, I'd suggest saving for a solid GPU upgrade first. The 7800X3D is great, but you might end up getting only a slight FPS increase if you're still using the 3060.
Honestly, if you're looking for the best bang for your buck right now, go with just the GPU. Your Ryzen 5600 is still pretty decent, and you might see a better performance boost by upgrading to something like an RTX 5070 or RX 9070 XT. It could really double your FPS compared to sticking with the 3060. Later on, you can think about upgrading the CPU. Don't forget about the budget though; a good GPU will serve you well!
Good point! I think with all games pushing for higher frame rates, focusing on the GPU first makes sense for better performance.

Yeah, that VRAM usage is crazy! I'll have to keep that in mind when choosing my upgrade path.
