I'm currently using a 2TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus as both my boot and storage drive, and it has approximately 50TB written out of its rated 1200TB. I'm in the process of building a new PC and I plan to give my old one to my brother soon. I have a 2TB Crucial P310 that's never been used, but I'm torn on whether to keep using the 970 Evo Plus or to switch to the P310. The Crucial drive has much faster sequential read and write speeds, but it has a lower endurance rating of 440TB, and I've heard it may not perform as well for booting since it's DRAM-less and based on QLC technology. I'd appreciate any advice on which SSD I should use in my new build!

I'd suggest sticking with the Samsung 970 Evo Plus. It may have slower sequential speeds compared to the Crucial P310, but its endurance is way better, plus it's a tried and tested drive for booting. The Evo's performance in random read and write speeds really shines, especially for everyday tasks.
I agree with sticking with the Evo Plus for your main drive. The lower endurance of the P310 could become an issue over time, especially if you plan on using it for your operating system. Sequential speeds are nice, but for best performance, the overall reliability and endurance of the Evo Plus are key.
