Why Are Google Sites Showing Up in My Drive?

I recently checked the "Shared with me" section on my Google Drive and found several Google Sites that seem related to cam girls, escorts, etc., dating back to last fall. I didn't open any of the links because I don't want to visit those sites, but I can see enough in the thumbnails to understand what they are. I'm wondering if these could have been saved to my Drive because they were sent via email, or if there's another innocent reason for their presence. Or could this mean my husband intentionally saved them?

I think there might be some confusion here. Can you share a screenshot or more details about what you see? It could just be images or files shared with you, but I’m not entirely sure based on your explanation.

I get similar files shared with me all the time. It’s a sneaky way to get around spam filters. Instead of sending emails, people often use sharing features to send links and documents. That could explain why you’re seeing those sites in your Drive.

These kinds of links usually show up in the "Shared with me" section because someone directly shared them through Google. Drive doesn’t automatically save your browsing history or sites just like that, so that’s probably how they ended up there.
