Hey everyone, I'm dealing with a frustrating issue where several applications and games keep crashing on me after being open for a while—this has been happening for about three months. I checked the Event Viewer and it shows Event 1000 Application Error, but I don't get any error messages when the crashes occur. I don't think there's anything wrong with my hardware since I have an RTX 4080 Super and an i9-14900KF along with an ASRock Z790-C, and I've kept all my drivers and Windows updated. I might be overlooking something simple, so any help would be appreciated!

First off, could you share which specific applications and games are crashing? Also, a good initial step is to open Task Manager, go to the settings (bottom left), and ensure "Always on top" is checked under window management. After that, check the performance tab while you launch a game—if your GPU is hitting 100%, that’s normal. Just keep an eye on the overall CPU and RAM performance too!
I’ve noticed that Google and Discord are crashing frequently for me, along with games like Risk of Rain 2, Marvel Rivals, Valorant, and Wuthering Waves. Valorant crashes the most. When I run these games, the performance graphs hover around 20-35%, jumping to 40% sometimes during heavy effects.
