Why are my HDR colors messed up when connecting my laptop to my TV?

Hey everyone! I'm having a weird issue with my setup. I usually connect my Acer Nitro 17 laptop to my LG OLED C2 TV using an HDMI cable for gaming, and HDR has always worked fine. But recently, when I enable HDR, the colors go all weird—everything turns pink and green. It looks terrible! If I switch HDR off, the colors go back to normal. I can't figure out what happened. Has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions?

Have you tried a different HDMI cable? Sometimes, a faulty cable can cause weird color issues when transmitting HDR signals.

I had a similar problem once, and replacing the HDMI cable resolved it. Make sure it’s at least HDMI 2.0 or higher to handle HDR properly.
