I recently swapped my CPU from a Ryzen 3400G to a Ryzen 2200G in a mini PC, aiming for lower temperatures. I had a professional shop do the installation for me. However, I've noticed that 3 out of 6 of my USB ports have suddenly become unusable. Is it possible that changing the CPU could affect the USB ports, or could the technicians have accidentally damaged something during the process?

If all the USB ports worked fine before you had the CPU changed, it's worth going back to the shop that did the work to see what might have gone wrong or if they might have damaged something.

I actually just asked them casually since I know computers can be tricky—I wasn’t paying them to do the CPU swap, so I wasn't sure how much help they'd provide.
